Meet Carl

The proof of concept. A 1962 Kenworth that proved an old dog can learn new tricks.

The Origin Story

Carl started life as a 1962 Kenworth LW 924 in Vancouver, BC. After 40 years of hauling logs and 15 years rusting in a field, we gave him a second chance.

We tore him down to the frame, added air ride suspension, and installed our first diesel-electric hybrid powertrain. The goal was simple: prove that you can get the efficiency of electric with the reliability of diesel.

The result? A 1960s truck that gets 21 MPG—a 70% increase in fuel efficiency compared to its original mechanical drivetrain.
